Free Index UK Directory
Free Index was established back in 2003 and literally lists thousands of UK businesses. The directory has very nice rankings on Google and ranks on the 1st couple of pages for the highly competitive phrases directory and UK directory as well as lots of other phrases relating to the specific categories. This makes getting listed at Free Index a great opportunity to get targeted traffic and business. I just submitted my SEO site about a year ago and the submission process is quite unique, you basically create your own listing using their listing builder. The listing builder makes it so that when you submit all of the relevant information is going to be there for the end user (this will ultimately increase your chances of getting business from your listing), I would imagine this makes the reviewing process a lot easier. To top all of this off, the directory has a really nice design and a easy to navigate category structure - where you can search by region or business sector. Like the name suggests it is totally free to get listed at FreeIndex however by providing a link back to the directory you can get a fully enhanced page.
